Why I’m doing it
I like being around people who are into what they’re doing.
I wanted a reason to meet them and work alongside them.
That might involve a product, a business, an event, a meal, a piece of writing, or a change to an ordinary week. The things I make and host are a way to find out.
Living freely
Having some say over your time.
Money, work, relationships, health, and place all affect what is possible. I want the things I make and host to be honest about that.
Freedom will look different for different people.
The name
Why Craftship?
It’s the action at the centre of the whole thing. Make something with care, then put it in front of real people.
The day isn’t over when the thing works. It’s over when someone else has seen it.
Hear when the next one is on.
One email when a venue and date are confirmed. Nothing else.
